FLUSHING AND PICKLING
It is very important to perform pickling (acidification) and flushing (cleaning) processes in order for fluid-operated systems to operate without problems and for a long time. Particles circulating in the systems that have not been paid attention to cleanliness are carried to the pump, valves and other elements with the system oil, causing blockages, abrasions and malfunctions.
How is the Pickling Application Made?
Pickling removes burrs, welding pieces, rust etc. in pipes with the help of acid. It is the process applied to remove the substances from the pipes. The pickling process consists of three stages.
- Cleaning with acid
- Neutralization process
- The process of forming a film layer with hydraulic oil
At the end of the pickling (acidification) process, flushing (cleaning) is applied.
How is Flushing Application Made?
With the help of flushing application, a suitable sized unit is connected externally to the system to be cleaned, conditions suitable for cleaning are prepared, and then system cleaning is carried out by using the pump and tank in the system. The most important issue is that the oil to be filled in the tank is the oil to be used in the system and the materials to be cleaned in the system must be free of particles, otherwise the system life will be shortened with the problems that will occur in the system. Cleaning of hydraulic systems is very important for trouble-free operation and they need to be cleaned carefully.
